Byliner Awards

2015 marks the 57th Byliner Awards, and we are now accepting nominations!

Byliner Awards have been presented annually since 1958 by the Oklahoma City Chapter of The Association for Women in Communications (AWC) to recognize Oklahoma women who have made a significant contribution or impact in their community. Byliner honorees are recognized at an awards dinner every spring with proceeds from the event fund the AWC scholarship program for women pursuing a communications degree at an Oklahoma college. The 2015 Byliner Awards Dinner will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City.

The nomination process is open to the public; membership to the Association for Women in Communications is not required. You may submit a nominee online or by mail. To submit a nominee, please complete the paper nomination form or online form and two letters of recommendation and return them by October 10, 2014 to Nadine Ciejek-Reim, 2416 Fairway Court, Norman, OK, 73069.

The Nomination Committee will then review all information received and select the 2015 Byliner recipients.
