Events & Programs
The Association for Women in Communications meets the second Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Will Rogers Theatre in Oklahoma City. The lunch programs feature guest speakers who address communications related topics and issues that affect professional women in every area of their lives. Cost is $20 for members, $25 for guests and $15 for AWC National Student Members. Free parking is located behind the event center.
Bosses Breakfast
Each Spring, members of our professional association host a breakfast to award the scholarships for women made possible through the Byliners program. This event, known as the Bosses Breakfast, also serves as an opportunity for our supervisors and mentors to join us for a morning of networking and fellowship. Whether the member works for a non-profit organization, a small business or a large corporation, AWC offers the resources and networking opportunities to help the member in her career, and the Bosses Breakfast gives us the opportunity to share that with our employers.

Progress of Women
Each Fall, this lunch examines the evolving role of women, especially in the workplace. At the meeting speakers discuss women’s progress and how women can make personal and professional strides in the future.
